What you eat before you work out can have an affect on the results you get. What you want to do is eat a small snack before you work out, of about 100-200 calories. These should be a kind of food that is easily digested, for immediate use, like carbs, and not fats, as fats take much longer to become available, and won’t do you much good immediately. Oh, how many times in my life have I joined a gym? Ok, how many times have I not used that gym? Periodically, I get all enthused and motivated, and sign up, once again, to various memberships.
