February in the South is when you start to see the first signs of Spring.  The jonquils are out in full force, the cherry trees are blooming, and the forsythia shows its bright yellow flowers around every corner.  It’s also the time when I start thinking about those nasty mosquitoes that are soon to make their presence known.

I don’t know why my yard has so many mosquitoes.  There are no ponds nearby, nor even any streams or low lying marshy lands.  As a matter of fact, I live on a ridge of land, and am not any where near the More >
